These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ThyncLabs (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Some features require a paid subscription ("Pro"). Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current cycle, and cancellations do not generate a prorated refund except where required by law. Prices may change with notice, and any change applies to the next billing cycle.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute course content, problems, or editorials;
• share your account or circumvent access or usage limits;
• abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the code judge or AI features;
• submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the code, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process and store it to operate the Service — for example, to run your submissions in the judge, generate AI feedback, and show your history. You are responsible for the content you submit.

5. AI features

The Service includes AI-generated feedback, scoring, and complexity analysis. These are practice aids to help you prepare — they are estimates, not guarantees of accuracy or of any interview or hiring outcome. Do not rely on them as professional advice.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its courses, problems, editorials, and software, is owned by ThyncLabs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it for your own interview preparation.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any particular interview performance or job offer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThyncLabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
