I've spent most of the last decade on the other side of the interview — six and a half years building the live interview and proctoring infrastructure that companies use to screen candidates, scaling it to 5,000+ concurrent sessions and millions of events a day.
Then I started preparing for my own interviews, and the options were bleak. Grind problems alone and hope it transfers. Or book a human mock — expensive, and gone the moment scheduling gets in the way. I didn't want a calendar invite three days out. I wanted to rehearse right now, at 1am, for the tenth time, without paying ₹3,000 a session.
Nothing cheap existed with zero scheduling friction. So I built it for myself — a live AI interviewer you can sit down with the moment you feel like practicing, that probes your trade-offs and hands back a scored report. It worked well enough on me that I turned it into ThyncLabs.
